Very interesting and thought provoking piece. Have we reached the change in the era of literature where people simply don’t have time to sit down and read a good story? Rather the gig economy is driving more entrepreneurship and freelance contracting therefore leading people to read listcles with practical advice?

I am not saying literature has no place. I am saying that the 21st centruy societal changes and expectations may have redefined what literature means to most.
