True — allusions can be extremely powerful as you mentioned. I think you definitely have peaked my interest with writing more poetry.

I have practiced writing (or at least trying to write) sentences with 14 words or less. It’s really difficult but it helps to avoid run on sentences and confusing the heck out of the reader!
