I have also learned that you have to engage on medium to make it work. I was posting content almost every day, and was not getting many views or reads. I was not active in commenting or clapping on other people’s work. I noticed that even clapping doesn’t do much.

You need to engage with comments.
In fact, I have decided to bring a lesson that I learned on another platform — spend 80%-90% of your time engaging with other content and 10% — 20%on posting your own content.
