That’s really scary — it’s unbelievable how this is happening at every level of the education system from primary to tertiary. The US has to get its act together in terms of schooling especially at the primary and secondary levels. I read an article in The Economist one time (see if I can dig it out) that talked about how poor the US secondary and primary schooling system is in terms of results when compared to other OECD countries.
