One thing that I found has worked for me is concentrating on one or two social media channels. Given the recent changes in Facebook, I have tended to stay away from it for business. It’s true that Facebook ads may be quite useful — depends on your target audience who would become your clients.

The two platforms where I have focused my attention are LinkedIn and Twitter with a bigger focus on LinkedIn. I have picked up two clients from LinkedIn, so I will continue to use it.
