I think writing is definitely a master’s art. People often think it’s a matter of just slapping a few words together on the page and voila you have a piece. It takes a lot of craft and skill to put a thoughout, engaging piece together. Unfortunately, people take this for granted and don’t want to pay for it. Naturally, you need to earn your reputation, then people will absolutely pay. As you say that’s the long haul — this is a long-run thing if you want to be worth top dollar.
