Disruption is one thing. At the moment, Trump is breaking the distinction between personal loyalty and constitutional allegiance. These two things are mired into one as evidenced by the recent HHS IG removal. Trump uses his cult leader status as way to rally his base and as a weapon that anyone (Democrat or Republican) who opposes him is an enemy of the people. Obviously, we know the media is the favourite attack point. But, there are others who are conservative and have received one of his attacks.

There is an uncanny resemblance between President Xi and President Trump in terms of purging officials who are viewed as corrupt. I should also mention that Trump doesn’t follow conservative principles at all.
