I think it would be quite boring if you had a yoda for life. A mentor can sometimes create an illusion that you don’t have to think for yourself. For this reason, it’s better that they change. Of course that doesn’t mean they no longer exist in your life. Rather, they go to another level in your community who you could probably call on if you’re in need.
